Hello there !

I’m Kim Ekdahl and I’m a freelance Illustrator with a love for vibrant colors. Before deciding to do illustration fulltime I worked in the videogame industry as a Lead 3D artist. Videogames are still one of the things that inspire me the most, along with fairytales and fantasy novels. A recurring theme in my art that I always love to draw are strong female characters in magical fantasy and sci-fi settings.

Previous clients include -The Metropolitan Museum of Art, DK publishing, Penguin Random House, Harper Collins and Audible.
